Cinnamon Toothpicks.

Anyone remember those cinnamon toothpicks you used to be able to get?

It was a little plastic packet with around 10 toothpicks which had been soaked in cinnamon oil, which you could suck/chew on. They were awesome (of course, your liking or disliking of cinnamon might afford you an alternate view).

I loved those things, and was really annoyed when I couldn't find them anymore. So, like anyone who was disappointed about something like that might do. . . I went out and bought some cinnamon oil and a box of toothpicks, and made my own. ;-)

But, I was discussing these with a friend of mine the other day, and I had a thought, why not see if you can still get them somewhere. . . and the best way to check that? The Internet, of course. As luck would have it, I found them. ;-)

I've now got a couple of boxes of them being shipped to me. This rocks. ;-)

You should go into business with this... you could make toothpicks in all SORTS of flavours and sell 'em on the net!

Well. . .

I've actually done a few others. ;-)

I found a vanilla oil that worked reasonably well, and a peppermint oil that came out really good. Cinnamon's still my favorite, though. ;-)
Oh man, that's excellent! Where did you find em?

A couple of places. . .

I actually found them at a couple of places. One of them had a cheaper price, but a minimum purchase of $20, the other was slightly higher, but had no minimum. I ended up going for the latter, since it's still getting me more than enough cinnamon toothpicks, and the total price was less.

I'm getting a *lot*, though (3 boxes;-). . . so if you'd like some, I'd be more than happy to share. ;-)
I like mint ones.

Mint toothpicks.

The mint ones are good, but it's usually a "barely there" mint flavor. You just get a hint of it. The cinnamon toothpicks are strongly flavored. . . it's like sucking on a "Red Hot" candy. ;-)

different flavored toothpicks

What are people's thoughts on different flavored toothpicks formulated for specific purposes, like, orange oil to help with hunger cravings, or calming toothpicks? It seems like such a small thing, but lots of people are into chewing toothpicks so why mot?
