It wasn't bad. It had an interesting ending, a few really impressive special effects, and a plot that mostly hold your interested.
My biggest complaint was that there were a handful of scenes involving computer cracking, and while they threw around a lot of buzzwords, and even used some of the words correctly, they also said a lot of really stupid stuff that makes very little sense. I also got the feeling that the actors had no clue what they were talking about when they said it.
Also, the computers themselves in the movie were rather cheesily done and hokey.
I should, however, point out that I'm a computer tech, and I generally hate movies that deal with computers because they're almost always totally inaccurate and stupid. I really wish I didn't know better when they say something stupid in a movie.
Most people who don't spend the majority of their waking hours with computers wouldn't notice the mistakes in this movie, and in fact, for the most part, they did better than I'd expected. When they talked about hardware, they generally used real technical terms, instead of stupid made up stuff.
Oh, yeah. I also heard, after the movie, that there was some huge thing about Halle Berry showing her breasts in this movie. Sure, she's hot, but I guess I hadn't realized her breasts were all that big of a deal. Either way, I can verify that it did happen, they were nice, blah, blah. Actually, I wasn't all that terribly impressed. Oh, well.
