Grr. . . PGP signed e-mail posting.

Grf.

PGP signed e-mail posting isn't working (at least for me) again.

It keeps telling me "Invalid Signature", but I've checked the public sig that LJ has (which hasn't changed sine they first introduced the feature), and the e-mail I sent does validate.

This is getting really frustrating. I love e-mail posting, and particularly love being able to post via PGP signed e-mails, but I'm getting tired of typing up an e-mail post, sending it, and then getting a rejection e-mail about it a little while later, and then having to copy and paste my entry into a different client.

PGP

Make sure you're not using a DSS/DHH keypair. LJ's system may only recognize RSA keys. Also, if you're using PGP 8.x, you'll find some older systems won't validate the keys for some reason. I stick with PGP 6.5.8.

Re: PGP

I am using DSA/DH keypair, along with GPG (GNU Privacy Guard), as opposed to PGP.

I know it *should* work because it has worked in the past.

That's what is the most frustrating thing about this. . . sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't, but the GPG key I'm using hasn't changed, nor has LJ's copy of my public key.

I don't know if they're changing stuff, and that's causing breakage, or if there's just a bug there that causes problems sometimes, or what. I'm just annoyed that half (or more, lately) of my e-mail posts don't get posted.
