Lord of the Blunders.

I just found an amusing news article which includes a sort of mini-interview with Peter Jackson (Director of Lord of the Rings). It specifically discusses some of the blunders and gaffes that have occured in the LotR films, and his thoughts or responses to them.

Fans of the movies should definitely give it a glance. ;-)

Not only that, but he really seems to enjoy the list. Some directors would get upset. Not Peter Jackson. He rocks.

I liked that NewsWeek article--and was supremely impressed by the 3D map they did showing the Rohan/Gondor/Mordor region of Middle-earth. Until I did look at the Mordor part and I'm almost dead certain that they totally screwed up the placement of the Black Gate, Minas Morgul, Cirith Ungol, Orodruin (Mount Doom), and Barad-dûr, in relationship to each other. Like they were mixed around. I need to actually look at a map and check that out.

Definitely a great feature, though. I'm impressed with how well the media's handling the films now, as opposed to two years ago when the first one came out. ;)
